** Summer weekend Special **

Come and Experience an unforgettable overnight trip in one of the most beautiful and scenic stretches of water in the North Maine woods, the West Branch of the Penobscot River and Debsconeag Lake region. Start your day off with expert instruction from our very skilled Master Maine Guides. Here you will receive excellent instruction on how to properly paddle and maneuver your kayak in many different river scenarios.

After everyone gets acquainted and has sharpened their skills we will head down the river to beautiful Debsconeag Lake for our nights stay. Enjoy a cool dip in the lake or try your luck at fishing before setting down to a fabulous Maine Lobster Bake with fresh Maine corn on the cob, Coleslaw, Rolls and our famous Double Chocolate Brownies, After supper relax on the sand beach and listen to the cry of the loons over a dancing campfire, the guides will entertain you with local folklore and old guides tales, some true some not you be the judge.
Start your next day off with the aroma of fresh brewed coffee over the open campfire, there is no hurry sleep in if you want, let the guides prepare you an old time original hearty Maine breakfast of eggs, bacon, home fries, beans, toast, juice and coffee. Those of you who want a lighter breakfast we will have fresh fruits, bagels and sweet rolls. After breakfast we will start our trip again down the river into peaceful Passamagammet Lake here you may view or photograph Moose, Deer, Eagles, Ducks and other wildlife. Heading out of Passamagammet Lake we will return back into the river again for a short time before coming to the Head of Ambajejus Lake. Here we will stop and look at the Boom House Museum, take a look at the times of yesteryear, the museum is filled with old tools and artifacts of the logging days of long ago. We will have a light lunch here before heading onward to our take out destination a few more miles down the lake.
