Ice Fishing begins Jan. 1 through March 31. Numerous lakes and ponds within a half hour drive make this area a fisherman's Paradise! These frozen waters are also snowmobile accessible. There are many Snowmobile Clubs in the region that hold annual poker runs, cookouts and other events throughout the winter. Check with the East Branch Sno Rovers and the Northern Timber Cruisers for a complete listing of activities. |

Snow Country Sled Rentals offers Ice fishing trips for Splake, Salmon, Brook Trout and Pickerel on many lakes and ponds in the Katahdin area and The Allagash Wilderness Waterway. Ice fishing trips include transportation, Ice traps, Ice Shack, Bait, lunch and Registered Maine Guide. |

Why Rent From Us To give you peace of mind, our sleds are
maintained onsite. We provide a comprehensive orientation that covers riding
skills, safety and trail etiquette. We offer a full line of warm, clean, dry
rental clothing to make your time on the trail comfortable. Each rental
includes a helmet, which must be worn at all times.
Snow

licensed and insured outfitters. We offer guided overnight trips, day rides or
just rent one of our sleds and explore the area on your own! |
| All of our renters are required to participate in pre-trip orientation to familiarize yourself with safe operation and trail etiquette. New riders are required to watch a 20-minute safety video. Advanced reservations for sled rentals are highly recommended, as many dates book out early |
